Germany v Argentina 1-1 (4-2 on pens)

A lot rides on this game, and that's not just for Argentinians or Germans....
For Tim to win the competition, either England have to win the world cup, or it has to be an England v Germany final.
Looking at the maths again, I now think it's not possible for Phil to win.
We all have Argentina to make it to semi's - except Tim - and he's the only one who has Germany there.
Should be a cracker.
Oh dear. Pants. Good news for Tim (and all the other countries left in it). Tim 7pts. I now he hopes he wins this thing....Jake & Andy's winners & Steve's finalists are OUT.

Never being one to turn down a mathematical challenge.... I need Portugal to beat England (sorry guys), France to beat Brazil, Ukraine to beat Italy and Argentina to beat Germany. I then need France to beat Portugal, and Ukraine to beat Argentina, with Argentina getting 3rd. Mathematically possible...the words fly & pigs spring to mind
golly! I'll take your word for it! But the first part of that (Germany v Argentina has already gone wrong....)
