Jake's World Cup Predictor Blog

A World Cup blog for predictions and any other random thoughts that I might have over the next 6 weeks or so. Should be updated with scores, predictions and rants about poor refereeing, lucky Germans and why we can't take penalties.

Spain v Ukraine 4-0

Spain v Ukraine
This is the decider for who wins the group.
Draws abound: Jake & Andy 2-2, Stu, Steve & Tim 1-1. Only Phil has gone for someone coming off the pitch happy - Ukraine to win 1-3.

A thrashing for Ukraine and for the second time in the competition, no points for anyone.
Amazingly, the first penalty was awarded in this game - but it never should have been given.

With Spain 2-0 up after 18 minutes, I don't think many of us will be getting points for this one...

welcome to the 21st century! What's the difference between a series of rants in a book and on a blog? Get with techniology!
Also, I never doubted that you were a grumpy (and inept) old man.
