Gentlemen

Here as promised is my blog.

I'll post predictions, results, points etc. on a daily basis (or as frequently as possible - bearing in mind I've got a wife and 2 small children to keep happy with the prospect of 2 or 3 games of football on tv (which I'lll want to watch) every day for the next 6 weeks.

I may even try and add any photos of missed penalties, tearful fans and ridiculously dressed supporters that I might find on the web - or other more humorous world cup stories. I thought I'd start of with this one above- entitled "fearless Argentinians" - which is a work of genius.

With only 4 days to go before kick-off, I'm getting quite excited already.
Who would have thought Germany v Costa Rica could provide such excitement?
No Starbucks coffee for me - I've changed allegiance to Costa.
